I was extremely disappointed in the service I received. They did not fix my brakes the first time I visited despite paying several hundred dollars. When I called their response was they didn't know how bad my brakes were to begin with and they would need to replace the back caliper. I returned the car and paid for that as well, only for them to then tell me I really needed all new pads and rotors to the tune of $700. That was true, but should have been noted in the initial inspection. I took my car to another business for new brakes and rotors, and discovered I also needed new front calipers, which Johnsons should have noted in the two separate times they worked on my brakes. Avoid. They are overpriced and not thorough, which puts your safety at risk.
I will be calling you to apologize. Looking at all the info here and talking with the technician verifies all of what you said. for that I apologize. We stated that after the brake line was fixed we would look over the rest of the brakes to let you know if there was any other issues. we did have a note that the bleeder screw was previously broken on the left rear caliper but did not clarify what that means to being able to bleed the brakes of all the air, caused by the line replacement. So you came back because the brakes did not feel good and we replaced the caliper so at the brakes could be bled out properly, and that is when we looked it over and told you that you were going to need the brakes all the way around. I do not know about the front calipers but I sure hope that we missed it and you needed them. Again what can I say? My tech said "I messed up" and we all know you did not get the service we strive for here. Please give us at least accept our apology. We here at Johnson's can see that we did not do all we should have. Let me know if there is anything else we can do for you.
