Liars and cheats, said I need 4 new breaklines and calipers for $1300, and only put in 1 breaklines, 3 hoses, and no calipers and charged $1356...awful people
Technician Notes - Found that left rear brake line is has rusted out and is leaking. All brake lines are very rusty in different areas. Recommend replacing all brake lines with stainless kit. Brake calipers look rusty, it may also be necessary to replace calipers if bleeder screws will not come loose. Rear brake pads are at 70%, fronts are at 40%. THESE NOTES ARE DIRECTLY FROM OUR PAPERWORK AND THE SAME AS IS ON YOUR INVOICE. We did not lie and did not cheat. The brake line kit is a kit that includes all the lines (we installed them all) and we also replaced the brake hoses (all of them). The calipers turned out ok but we replaced the bleeder screws because they had rusted away and so we installed new ones so anyone would be able to work on the brake system in the future. If you are having an issue with the work performed, give us a call. It is all under warranty for 2 years. If the calipers fail due to being 20 years old (even though they were good when we worked on the vehicle) they are not covered because we did not replace them. We do not replace things that are not bad. However, if they do fail in the future maybe Michigan works will pay for the calipers just like they payed for all the work we performed here.
