My family had been struggling with issues on our two cars for about a year and I was at my wit's end stressing about not having at least one functional car. We had only tried one other repair shop in the area and it wasn't working out so we found Johnson's and decided to give them a try. I am SO thankful that we did! From start to finish, the process was seamless. Staff was always very kind and understanding of our financial limitations, they gave me a referral for an affordable tow in the area that provided excellent customer service as well. Johnson's worked with us to make sure our vehicle was running smoothly but didn't push any repairs or services that we were not able to afford at the time. Everyone was communicative, the service was quick and best of all, unlike the other shop we had been going to, we never had to go back because things were repaired correctly the first time! It's been a few months and my car is still running great. I was very impressed with everything they did for us. We're obviously not looking forward to the next time one of our cars needs to be fixed, but when that time comes, without a doubt I am calling Johnson's!

Went somewhere else for over 25 yrs until moving up this way. They got my vehicle in the very next day, diagnosed and fixed and the other exhaust issue they gave me a quote but gave me a muffler shop name that they felt could do it cheaper. Which I did take to the muffler place and saved me over $600. Greatly appreciated, especially being new to the area and a new customer. I highly recommend this company. I will definitely be a life long customer.

Always prompt , courteous, I believe up front and honest .. two things stand out..1.. car is normally into the shop at appointment time… two.. usually, car is done same day..

I highly recommend Johnson Automotive Repair. Greg and the rest of the staff are great mechanics, hard working, ethical, and fair. We had an issue with our hydraulic steering system on a road trip from Southern MI to Northern MI in the late afternoon. Greg got us in before they closed, his team quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it despite not immediately having the correct part. Johnson is one of the best auto repair shops we have ever taken a vehicle to for repairs. They evaluate our college daughters 30 year old truck earlier than expected, diagnosed the main issue immediately and gave a accurate estimate on the cost of the repair. They recommended a few things that should be repaired (sooner than later) on the truck as well. While working on the truck they noticed a leak from the right brake caliper (that was brand new from a chain brake shop). Clearly this was a safety issue, so they replaced the calipers (under warranty). This team looked out for the safety of our daughter and we are grateful for that. All this was happening a few days before Christmas, which was stressful. They even gave her a ride so she could pick up her truck. We appreciate this team for the accurate diagnosis, promptness of the repairs and the care that showed.
