Brought in vehicle to fix driveshaft and for diagnostics on a limp mode problem. They fixed the driveshaft but said they couldn’t replicate the issue. I drove it home and on the way home I replicated the issue and still had a broken car. They must not have even drove it at all. Disappointed for sure cause that’s the 3rd mechanic that did the same thing.

The battery disconnect on the battery being turned off every time the vehicle sits reset all the adaptive strategy's and the codes. I remember this vehicle was driven quite a bit but it never went into limp mode for us. With no codes of strategy to look at on the scanner the problem could be any where. Could be throttle issue, worn transmission, wiring, computer, you name it. we needed to get the vehicle back without resetting all the computers. If you would like we would look at it again. Please do not turn the battery off though.

A neighbor highly recommended Johnsons Automotive since I just moved to Big Rapids area. I described my problems I was experiencing with my 2003 Chevy avalanche, bad had 236 thousand miles on it. They diagnosed the problems, with getting parts for my problem it took them two days to repair the truck, which was fine with me. They found my universal joints arrested out and had some axle problems and of course an air conditioning problem. They replace them all and the truck is running great. So my neighbor's recommendation are Johnson's automotive was a good one the time it took to repair it and the cost was fair. I highly recommend them.

I am a 100% disabled veteran. I chose this shop a little over 2 yrs ago for the car i had. I got a oil change and a free list of estimates for other work that needed to be done. They never make you feel pressured. They give you peace of mind on if its safe. They even organized the issues from most urgent to least. A mechanic shop you can trust. Plus they give a veterans discount. I personally am very pleased.

We can not thank You enough, and I know You probably hear it a lot. We hope you understand that this precious country is ours because people of all types were willing to give everything they had to protect and serve for our Freedom. We give 100% here at Johnson's, but you gave and we Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I had an appointment today. Got there and they took me right in. Problem was my AC was not putting out as I thought it should. Rather than drive it 80 miles to the Kia Dealership I took it to Johnson's. The car is brand new and due to new technology in the air conditioning system, Johnsons could not perform the necessary maintenance BUT, the gentleman that helped me found two local businesses (competitors) that he called and said they could do the work. Until now, I have never seen a business recommend a competitor and I have been driving for nearly 60 years. I would give them 10 STARS if possible.

I left a 1 star review and they didn't publish it on the website. Classic. Just like their poor ability to speak to women.

I have the right to make it right with you before publishing. That is pretty standard. However, I also have responded to every single 1 2 3 4 star review personally and I publish all of them immediately when I do so. I understand there is a way to trick people into believing everyone is happy and that is not fair nor what this company stands for. If I did not say in the last review of 1 star, I will say it now, I am Lee Johnson and if there is an issue I need to know and I am glad you reviewed a 1 star, but if you do not allow us to make it right , There is nothing more I can do for you, than to address the issue with the staff. The only people that get to experience the better us is everyone else. I would like to make it right with you and still be able to serve you, but you would have to be willing to come back in to do that and that is your choice. Thank you again
